A shaman is a person with wisdom and gifts to see what others don’t see, to hear what others don’t hear, entering into a world of spirit and to remain sane navigating coherently both worlds. Usually this comes with gifts of healing, as each shaman is a bridge between worlds and their lives is dedicated to being at service to both worlds.
Often initiated into the path through death, lineage, or radical aloness in the wild. Shaman’s are usually on the frindge of society, either through their environment or in thought if not both. Shamanism has become a phenomena in Western society, as we are starving for any spiritual experience that is authentic and not religious. Shamans provide individual experience and guidance for each person to find their own spirituality.
A shaman is a nature technological wizard, playing with the elements, spirits and consciousness to make magic happen…usually healing, but sometimes other things, like bending water…they are mystical beings.
